Third Coast Water Seminar: Researcher-Utility Partnerships

Dr. Lutgarde Raskin’s research group has partnered with the City of Ann Arbor Drinking Water Treatment Plant for more than a decade. She presented an overview of their collaboration to inspire others to engage in researcher-utility partnerships. The seminar highlighted research on opportunistic bacterial pathogens in treatment processes, distribution systems, and building plumbing, and illustrated how research results have the potential to change practice.
