Join Consulate General of France in Chicago, France Science, and Chicago Architecture Center on Tuesday, May 6, at the Chicago Architecture Center for a series of engaging events focused on the critical issues surrounding water preservation and management in North America and Europe.
Industry experts, academics, and innovators will discuss challenges, solutions, and collaborative opportunities for a sustainable water future. The program includes interactive sessions on innovative water technologies, green supply chains between the Atlantic and the Great Lakes region and more, and a roundtable discussion featuring top experts from the U.S. and France. The conversation will explore global water sustainability, preservation strategies, and policy solutions.
Guest Speakers:
- Eric Servat, director of the UNESCO International Centre for Water Research in Montpellier
- President of the French National Committee for UNESCO’s Intergovernmental Hydrological Program
- Claire Albasi, research director at the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), specializing in the decontamination and biological treatment of industrial and domestic wastewaters
- Rachel Havrelock, founder and director of the Freshwater Lab at the University of Illinois in Chicago.
