Get ready for ComEd’s 11th annual Switch on Summer, which celebrates the start of summer with the official turning on of Chicago’s iconic Buckingham Fountain! Brought to you in partnership with the Chicago Park District, this year’s event will also include the official announcement for the Chicago Park District’s Night Out in the Parks summer programming. Night Out in the Parks is the premier event series that activates parks across the city throughout the summer with cultural events and performances. Switch on Summer will feature cultural performances from Chicago artists; Chicago Park District art and maker stations and resources for children, families, and Chicago residents; as well as access to ComEd customer-support resources including energy efficiency tips, how you can switch to an electric vehicle or options for solar and ComEd’s new bill assistance platform. A variety of vendors and food trucks will be on hand to offer local fare for purchase.
