At Current, we are passionate about creating a positive impact on the environment and the economy. Our mission is to grow an inclusive blue economy, accelerate the adoption of innovative water technologies, and address pressing water challenges. As a Chicago-based nonprofit water innovation hub, we collaborate with diverse, cross-sector leaders to develop solutions that would be too risky or even impossible for any one group to undertake alone.

Current is not an advocate for the status quo. It’s an advocate for the wise use of water to sustain the Earth’s population — a mission that requires us to think big and act aggressively to see what works and what doesn’t.
